right hand is in

varadamudra

,

the gesture of blessing. His

left hand is in

vitarkamudra

,

the gesture suggestive of a

discussion.Deepinmeditation,

the eyes of the Bodhisattva of

Compassion are downcast

and his expression is calm. The

crown adorned by Guanyin

has Amitabha positioned

at the centre. His fine robe

parts at his chest to reveal a

necklace, indicative of a royal

lineage.
